Material Description: It is a martensitic stainless plastic mold steel with high corrosion resistance with 16% Chromium (Cr) content and improved machinability with sulfur (S) additive.

Steel properties: It has good corrosion resistance, very good machinability and polishability, dimensional stability, hardenability is lower than 1.2316.
Applications: It is used in all kinds of plastic injection mold holders, Holders of sensitive molds, Holders of molds where corrosion is not desired in cooling channels, Injection molds, molds that do not require high surface brightness, Tire molds, Machine parts where rustproofing is required.
Condition of delivery: Soft annealed, 241 HB (24 HRC)
